Give a balanced evaluation.

Is the speaker enthusiastic?

Check subject choice.

Good use of notes?

Was the wording clear?

Does the speaker have a good stance?

Did the speaker have a good impact on the audience?

Was the voice clear? Did the speaker make use of the three P’s? (Pace, Pause, Pitch).

Did the speaker use an extended pause?

Was the speech a story?

Did the speaker use good word pictures?

Did the speaker speak with conviction?

Was the comprehension good?

Did the speaker have good eye contact?

Check speech construction, language and facial expressions.
