How often do you meet?

We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays at 7.15 pm

Where do you meet?

We meet at the Bailliefields Community Hub, Sunnyside Road, Rumford, Falkirk, FK2 0RN.

How do I join?

Email centralscotlandspeakersclub@gmail.com or phone Willie Dryburgh on 07383984470 to let us know you would be interested in joining. You will be able to come along to a meeting and decide if you would like to join us.

What happens at meetings?

Meetings begin with a topic session which are used to develop skills in impromptu speaking. This is then followed by prepared speeches and a reading. The meeting ends with evaluations which provide advice on how to improve your public speaking skills.

Am I expected to speak at the first meeting?

No! Only if you feel comfortable. You are welcome to come along and just watch until you feel ready.

What can I speak about?

Anything you like. We just ask that you avoid talking about politics, sex and religion as these can be more controversial topics.
